As requested in your despatch No. 4020/1912 of
11th. instant, I beg to forward to you herewith two small sealed
samples of the opium recently seized from the S. S. Loongsang", which has been supplied to me by the Insular Collector of Customs
for examination by the Hongkong Government.
The Insular Collector states that he has no
particulars of the case to give other than those contained in the
statement given by the Master of the ship at the investigation
held here.
